The Condition of Women in ancient Civilizations

اسلام میں عورتوں  کے حقوق

It is clear that women were usually oppressed and discriminated against. Their rights and their social Activiti and humanity were denied. This situation persisted until the coming of Islam, which came to teach the people how to be just and fair to all mankind. It also came to rescue women from the oppression and the humiliation they suffered. It came to correct misconceptions, implement justice and restore women's dignity. Islam restored women's dignity and their position in society as human beings who contribute to the building of their society. It also announced that women are an essential factor in the development and prosperity of nations. Islam has given women their full rights and position, proclaiming and establishing these with clear explicit texts. These texts cannot be altered nor denied. It has prohibited female infanticide, offered guidelines for their upbringing in order to protect them throughout their lives and stipulated for them mercy and love. Islam has also imposed preventive regulations to further protect women from any defamation, humiliation and wrong accusations. Islam has given women the protection and security they need which they had lacked through the centuries and which they still lack in many so-called civilized societies that claim to uphold human rights

اسلام سے پہلےعورتوں کا معاشرتی مقام

اسلام کی آمد سے قبل عورت معاشرتی طور پہ بہت مظلوم اور عزت و احترام سے محروم تھی اسے تمام براہیوں کا سبب اور قابل نفرت سمجھا جاتا تھا زمانہ جاہلیت کے اس بدترین ظلم کو بیان کرتے ہوہے اللہ تعالی نے قران پاک میں ارشاد فرمایا جس کا ترجمہ اور مفہوم یہ ہے اور وہ اللہ کے لےیے  وہ کچھ یعنی بیٹیاں ٹہراتے ہیجسے وہ خود نا پسند کرتے ہیں القران سورتنہل

یعنی کفار مکہ اللہ کی بیٹیاں ہونے کا عقیدہ رکھتے تھے اسی طرح قران پاک کی دوسری آیات جن میں یہ بات واضح ملتی ہے کہ زمانہ جاہلیت میں عورت کو ناپسند کیا جاتا تھا

قرآن کی مندرجہ بالا آیات سے یہ بات واضح ہے کے اسلام سے پہلے تمام عزت و مرتبہ مرد کےلیے تھا اور عورت کو معاشرے میں کم تر اور ذلیل سمجا  جاتا تھا
اور جب ان میں سے کسی کو بچی کی ولادت کی خوشخبری دی جاتی تو اس کا چہرہ سیاہ پڑ جاتا ہے اور وہ غصے میں گھٹتا جاتا ہے[القرآن سورتہ نحلل
یعنی جب وہ کسی بچی کے پیدا ہونے کی خوشخبری سنتے تو چہرہ غصے میں سیاہ ہو جاتا اسی طرح زندہ بچیوں کو قتل کرنا یا پھر زندہ ہی دفنانا یہ سارے وہ حقاہق ہیں جو  یہ بات واضح کرتے ہیں کے اسلام سے پہلے عورت کا کیا مقام تھا

Women RIGHT TO HUMANITY 

Allah (Almighty) has dignified all of mankind, regardless of whether male or female. Allah (Almighty)  says:
"And indeed We have honoured the children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with good things, and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preferment. [surah isra verse:70]
Tafser of  this verse, Sayyed Qutb [R,H]says: "Allah has honoured him by creating man in this form which combines mud and the divine breath of life. Allah (Almighty) has also honoured (Reward)man by endowing him with natural dispositions that enable him to rule in the earth, implement new changes, cultivate and build. Man is also able to establish rules and regulations, to achieve great scientific results and attain the perfection ordained for this worldly existence.The Almighty also honoured man by subjecting to him the natural forces of the earth and the cosmic forces of the stars and orbits. He honoured him with a sumptuous and welcoming worldly existence and also by the angels prostrating to Adam and the Creator Himself proclaiming man's dignity and superiority."1 Al-Qurtubi understands this privilege to be exclusive to man over the rest of creation. He explains that, "We have honoured the children of Adam" means: "We have established for them dignity, nobility and superiority.Dignity; because Allah (Almighty) has perfected their image and given them the ability to travel on land and by sea, choosing their own means, conditions and time. This is indeed unique to mankind."2 Al-Imaam Ibn Katheer[R,H] quote this verse to prove that Allah (Almighty) has declared the superiority of mankind over the angels 

Qur'an refers to mankind. He (Almighty) says:
"0 people! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul, and from it He created his wife, and from them both He created many men and women. And fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual rights, (and do not cut the relations of) the wombs/Surely Allah is ever an Observer over you." [Surah Nisa verse 1]"
This verse clearly indicates that men and women have been created from one soul. They originate from the same race and are equal in terms of

اسلام میں عورت کے برابری کے حقوق

اللہ تعالی قرآن میں ارشاد فرماتے ہیں جس کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ ہم نے بنی آدم کو عزت دی آیت نبمر ۷۰ سورہ اسرا آیت کے مفہوم سے یہ بات ثابت ہوتی ہے کہ جس طرح اللہ تعالی نے اک مرد کو عزت دی اسی طرح عورت بھی اس تکریم میں شامل ہے اسی طرح سورہ نساء کی پہلی آیت میں اللہ تعالی نے عورت کو تخلیق میں مرد کے ساتھ شامل کیا اور اس بات کی طرف اشارہ کیا کہ جس طرح مرد کے حقوق ہیں اسی طرح عورت کے بھی حقوق ہیں

ملکیت اور جائیداد کی حق دار

اسلام نے مردوں کی طرح عورت کو بھی ملکیت اور جائیداد کا حق دار بنایا ہے وہ نہ صرف خود کما سکتی ہیں بلکہ وراثت کے تحت حاصل ہونے والی املاک کی مالک بھی ہیں القرآن سورتہ نساء آیت نمبر 32 حالنکہ ابن قدامہ نے یہاں تک لکھا کہ اگر کسی مرد نے عورت کو بیماری کے دوران اک طلاق رجعی دی اور دوران عدت شوہر کا انتقال ہو گیا تو بیوی اس کی وراثت میں حقدار ہو گی

Women Right to Seek Knowledge 

In Islam, Knowledge of the Religion is Obligatory for every Muslim man and woman. Therefore knowledge, in general, is respected and highly appreciated in Religion Islam. It is thus not surprising that scholars are held in high esteem and arc praised in many verses from the Qur'an. The deep respect for knowledge and those who possess knowledge is evident in the following verse. Allah (Allah Almighty) says in holy quran surah mujadla: "Allah will raise to high ranks those that have faith and knowledge amongst you. " [58:11]
Allah Almighty also says" Read in the name of your Lord who created,"[96:1 :surah al alaq]
The Almighty (SWT) also speaks highly of the excellence of scholars and their superiority over the common people. He (Allah Almighty) says:
"Are the wise and the ignorant equal? Truly, none will take heed but men of understanding. "[Surah zumr:39:9 ]
Allah (Almighty) has linked His witness and the testimony of the angels with that of the people of knowledge. This is indeed a privilege and proof of their superiority
These are some verses were revealed to define the outlines of a religion based on knowledge, as well as to establish the importance of this knowledge. Hence, the first word revealed, spoken by the Angel Gabriel was "Read". Reading is the key to knowledge and since writing complements reading, Allah (Almighty) Highlights this act by saying ''Taught by the pen ". The pen was and still is the best and most useful tool used in transmitting and preserving knowledge, and has left its impact on humanity over the centuries."1 By reading and writing, a human being can acquire knowledge. This knowledge is taught by his Lord since He is the one who has endowed us with intellectual capacities and the five senses which permit us to receive, learn and comprehend information،

اسلام میں عورتوں کے تعلیمی حقوق

جس طرح اسلام نے تعلیم  کے بارے  میں زور دیا اور اہل علم کی فضیلت کو بیان کیا ہے شاہد ہی کسی اور مذ ہب مہں اس  کی مثال ملتی ہو اللہ تعالی سورت زمر کی آیت نمبر ۹ میں ارشاد فرماتے ہیں جس کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ کیا اہل علم اور جاہل برابر ہو سکتے ہیں اسی طرح قرآن پاک کی پہلی وحی ہی جو نازل ہوئی وہ پڑہنے کے متعلق تھی اور سورت علق کی پہلی پانچ آیات پڑہنے کے متعلق نازل ہوہیں اور اسی طرح سورہ مجادلہ کی  اک آیت کا مفہوم تم میں سے ایمان والے اور اہل علم کے اللہ تعالی کے ہاں بہت بڑے درجات ہیں یہ بیان سورہ مجادلہ کی آیت نمبر [11]میں موجود ہے مزید تفصیل کے لیے تفسیر کی طرف رجوع کیا جا سکتا ہے اور اگر احادیث کی بات کی جائے تو بہت ساری احادیث موجود ہین جو علم سیکھنے اور سکھانے کے متعلق ہیں مثال کے طور پر جیسے العلمُ فرضتہُُ علی کل مُسلم اور جیسےتم میں سے بہتر وہ ہیں جو قرآن سیکھیں اور دوسروں کو سکھائیں
یہ مختصر کچھ قرآن پاک کی آیات اور احادیث کا ذکر کیا جس میں ایمان والوں کو سیکھنے اور سکھانےکی ترغیب دی گئی ان قرآن پاک کی آیات کا مصداق جس طرح اک مرد مسلمان ہے اسی طرح عورت بھی ہے جس طرح اک مرد کو سیکھنا  چاہئے اسی طرح عورت کو بھی بہر ہال اک بات کی یہاں وضاحت ضروری ہے کہ ان تمام آیات اور احادیث کا مطلب دین کا علم سیکھنا اور سیکھانا ہے اور تمام فضیلتیں دین کے ساتھ منسلک ہیں لیکن اس کا مطلب ہر گز یہ نہیں کہ آپ دنیاوی علم نیں سیکھ سکتے دین کا جو ضروری علم ہے وہ تو ہر مسلمان مرد عورت پہ فرض ہے اس کے بعد دنیاوی کوئی بھی علم اور ہُنر سیکھ سکتے ہیں اور یے حق جس طرح اک مرد کوحاصل ہےٹھیک اسی طرح عورت کو بھی حاصل ہے بس عورت کے لیے جو بات ضروری ہے وہ باپردہ ہونا ضروری ہے کیونکہ غیر محرم سےپردہ عورت کے لیے فرض  ہے 

Women Right to Choose Her Husband 

Islam has restored women's dignity, given them freedom of choice of her husband, established their rights and, most importantly, given them the right to choose their husbands. Hence,every woman has been given the right to accept or reject a suitor. It is a fact that not so long ago, women used to be sold to their husbands as pieces of merchandise. They were neither consulted nor even told that they had been given in marriage. But despite clear Islamic teachings, many Muslim fathers still force their daughters into marriages. This is not confined to those living in remote villages and rural areas but also occurs in urban areas as well. If the young woman protests and advocates her natural rights, she is often accused of  being insolent, disobedient and disrespectful of her culture and traditions. Forcing a woman to marry, without her consent, is a violation of Islamic law and transgresses the teachings of the Prophet (s) who said: "A matron should not be given in marriage except after consulting her; and a virgin should not be given in marriage without taking her permission."1 The People asked, "O Allah's Messenger! How can we know her permission? He said, "Her silence indicates her permission'

عورتوں کا اپنے خاوند کے انتخاب میں اختیار

اسلام نے عورتوں کو جس طرح اور بہت سارے حقوق دیئے ہیں اسی طرح اک خاص مسلہ جو عورت کی شادی کے متعلق تھا اُس میں عورت کو فیصلہ کرنے کا اور سوچنے کا  پورا پورا اختیار دیا گیا اور یہ حق دیا گیا کہ جو اپنے حق میں چاہیں بہتر فیصلہ کر سکتی ہیں اس کا یہ مطلب ہر گز یہ نیہں کہ عورت شادی کے مسلے میں بلکل آزاد ہے اور جب چاہے  اپنا نکاح کر سکتی ہے بلکہ اسلام نے عورت کے جو ولی ہیں جیسے باپ بھائی ماموں وغیرہ اُن کو یہ اختیار دیا اپنی بیٹی بھن یا بھانجی کا رشتہ طے کریں اور عورت سے اس کی اجازت لیں اگر خوشی سے اجازت دیں تو رشطہ طے کر دیا جائے ورنہ نہیں اسی بات کی طرف اُوپر حدیث میں ذکر کیا گیا کہ ہم اُن کی اجازت کا کیسے پتا لگا سکتے ہیں تو اپ  علیہ اسلام نے فرمایا کہ اُن کی خاموشی ہی اُن کی اجازت ہے یعنی جب کسی عورت سے اُس کے رشتہ کے بارے میں پو چھا جاتا ہے تو وہ شرمانے کی وجہ سے کچھ بول  نہیں پاتی تو اس لیے اُن کی خاموشی کو اجازت قرار دیا گیا یہ مسلہ باکرہ کے بارے میں ہے باکرہ یہ وہ عورت ہے جس کی پہلی دفعہ شادی وہ رہی ہو ایسی عورت کا اہنے ولی سے اجازت لینا ضروری ہے جہاں تک ثیبہ کا مسلہ ہے وہ بغیر اجازت کے بھی شادی کر سکتی ہے نوٹ ثیبہ اس عورت کو کہتے ہیں جس کی پہلے اک دفعہ شادی ہو چکی ہو تو اس کے پہلے خاوند کا انتقال ہو گیا یا اُس نے طلاق دے دی ہو تو عدت کے بعد دوسری شادی کرنا چاہتی ہو

 Women Right to seek Employment

Islam is the religion that rewards labour, and hard work. It is the religion of sacrifice and giving. As Muslims we are encouraged to work and to undertake lawful jobs.
"Do what you will, Allah will behold your works and so will His Apostle and the Faithful" [Surah Toba 9:105]
Al-Imam Al-Qurtubi said: "Do what you will is addressed to all mankind. "Allah will behold your works and so will His Apostle and the Faithful", means that Allah (T) will make your deeds known to them. It has been said, if a man worked in a rock with no doors nor windows, his work would be made known to mankind, whoever he was.1 The wisdom behind the creation of mankind is revealed in the Qur'an. Allah (Almighty) says:
"He who has created life and death, so that We may test them as to which of them do best. "[67: 2] 'We have made that which is on earth an ornament for it, so that We may test them as to which of them do best." [18:7]

Allah (T) has made it clear that the wisdom behind the creation of mankind is to test them and to put them through trials and then reward them according to their deeds,
. Islam has given each individual the right to undertake any lawful job as long as he or she meets the requirements,
The Prophet (s) said, "Nobody has ever eaten a better meal than that which he has earned by working with his own hands,
Explaining the above narration, Al-Imam Ibn Hajar says: "The more general term "to earn" precedes the more specific part uby working  with  his own hands,Al-Mawardi says: "The best sources of income are farming, trade and crafts,The scholars have different opinions concerning what is the best job and usually conclude that it varies according to the individual and according to the situation. However, any lawful job is better than idleness which leads to humiliation and degradation
Now We mention some more women rights under the Women Rights to seek employment
As man can doing any lawful  job same as Women can do it but the necessary thing for Women that is covering the entire body from other men

اسلام میں عورت کا یہ حق کہ کیا وہ  خود کا سکتی ہے

اسلام ہمارا وہ مذہب ہے جس نے عورت کو بہت سارے حقوق دیئے ہیں اسی طرح عورت اک خود کفیل بن کے کما بھی سکتی ہے اور اگر کوئی ہُنر سیکھنا چاہے تو وہ بھی سیکھ سکتی ہے اک عورت کو یہ پورا حق ہے کہ وہ ڈاکتر انجینیر پائلٹ یہاں تک کہ مزدوری بھی کرنا چائے تو کر سکتی ہے عورت اپنی زندگی میں کسی  بھی شعبہ میں حصہ لے سکتی ہے جیسے  مذہبی تہوار پولٹیکل سرگرمیاں اور اکنامک حقوق عورت کی کہیں پر کوئی پابندی نہیں اگر پابندی ہے تو اک چیز کی کہ عورت کا غیر محرم سے پردہ فرض ہے تو کام کے دوران بہت سارے لوگ ہوتے ہیں اس لیئے ایسی جگہوں پر عورت کا پردہ کرنا ضروری 
یہ عورت کے  کچھ بہت بنیادی سے حقوق ذکر کیے  گئے ہیں جس سے آپ کو بنیادی چیز سمجھ میں آجاہے کے اسلام نے عورت کو کیا حقوق دیئے ییں انشاءللہ موقع ملا تو تمام حقوق تفصیل سے ذکر کئے جاہیں گے
